Anyone who loves theater can participate in The Scripteasers

San Diego-Area Playwrights
Scripteasers is always looking for new scripts from San Diego-area playwrights: full-lengths, one-acts and 10-minute stage plays, as well as screenplays. For more information, check our submission guidelines.

Actors/Readers
Unrehearsed readings are an excellent opportunity to develop your craft. Best of all: no rehearsals and no memorizing! Arrive early (7:15 p.m.) and introduce yourself to the moderator or playwright to learn about possible roles.

Audience Members
No play exists without YOU. Bring your imagination to enjoy an original evening of theater. Afterwards, offer your comments and feedback to help the playwright.

Reading Schedule
Our readings are held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month (except August).
7:30 p.m.   (Prompt!)

Over the past 75 years, The Scripteasers has read over 1,500 scripts.
